Cheetah Powersurge Contest: "Chasing my Shadow"

I worked with Director/Producer David Hopkinson of Giantkiller Creative on his entry to the Cheetah Power Surge Energy Drink Commercial Contest and here is the entry!!! I'm so happy with the clip, its a fun spot! We shot it around picturesque Galt in Cambridge on Friday the 8th of October and Dave was able to do all the editing and post over the past week or so. Part of the contest depends on public votes. The spot isn't uploaded onto the Cheetah Power Surge site as of today, but when it is, I will need your help to vote for it! Here it is, let me know what you think!

Halloween Haunt!

Me as the "Moon Lady"
Halloween Haunt at Canada's Wonderland is in full swing, and I am having a blast as a "Front Gate Atmo" (Front Gate Atmosphere Performer).  There are two types of scare-actors at Halloween Haunt: an "Atmosphere Performer" is someone who roams freely in a designated area scaring people and a "Monster" is placed inside a maze.  My character is called the "Moon Lady" on account of my moon-shaped mask.  There is a small group of us at the front gate called the "Venetians" that wear masks with formal ball-gowns and tunics and despite the corset and heavy headpiece, I am quite in love with my costume!
The first weekend was quite cold, so I had to do my best to layer-up under the dress, and Mountain Equipment Coop came to my rescue with hand-warmers for inside my gloves when it dipped to 3'C on Sunday night!  However, this past weekend was utterly glorious for weather: some guests were still in t-shirts as they left the park Sunday night!
I have the type of costume that incites some unfortunate attention from individuals who think its fun to step on my train, or put a Styrofoam cup in my head-piece, (?!*^&#???) but we have a great group that watches out for each other I now feel fully protected.  Don't mess with the Moon Lady or you'll have a six-and-a-half-foot Venetian with an 8' staff running after you, and trust me, that's an intimidating sight!
I hope to see some familiar faces at the Haunt, and even though I can't speak to you (I am a mime after all...) I would love for you to come and say hello!  Happy Halloween everyone!
