Paul & Priya's Wedding is here!

Tonight is the much-awaited opening night of Paul & Priya's Wedding.  I play a friend of Priya's from highschool who grows up and joins the convent...Boisterous Bollywood Bonanza!

JUST DANS!

I had a great time shooting a few scenes from an upcoming Ryerson Film project Just Dans directed by Erin J. Walker and produced by Selka Carruthers.  I've never been involved in an unscripted film piece before, and it was really fun to improvise our scenes both in rehearsals and on camera.  It starred Christian McKenna as "Dan" who "has a reputation as being that quiet, weird, older guy at the office" and finds love and hilarity at a dance class.  I play "Philippa" who "truly believes that life would be better if she was calling the shots for everyone."  Its acting!...I swear...The film also features Diane Eddy, Gordon Noel, Kevin Clarke, Hilary Krull, Ryan Anning and Peter McHugh.  Rummor has it that there will be a screening April 30th, but I'll confirm that when I know more in the calendar section of my website. 

Random fun fact #1: Selka is ALSO gluten/dairy intolerant and we have opened the channel for recipe/product sharing.  Always great to have a fellow glutendairyfreedom type around! 

Random fun fact #2: Gordon Noel played my husband in an educational video shoot a few years back as part of the Make You Think series which was also improv based if I remember correctly! 

Random fun fact #3: I first met Christian McKenna when he was starring in a Column 13 show years ago and ran into him when I worked at Starbucks and complimented his work.
