My Skin-Tight, Neon Green Body Suit...

My costume for my final day on set for Indy Feature Film Drive Through; The Story Movie at Fast Motion Studios in Toronto.  LOVE IT!!!  Why was I wearing a neon green body suit?  For that, you'll have to wait until the movie comes out...

Side note: favourite fringe benefit of being on set with this production?  Jerk chicken and rice for dinner.  Feed me chicken and rice, and I'm one happy girl!  (See Why)

My ONE WOMAN SHOW!!!

I've been quiet about it for a little while now, but its time to get the conversation started:  I am producing a one woman show that already has a spot in next summer's London Fringe, Hamilton Fringe and will have a May workshop in Toronto.  It is called...Dairy-Free Love and stars me as "Dawn", the pleasantly quirky hostess of an at-home internet cooking show called "Dawn's Delights".  While making her signature dish "Dairy-Free Chocolate Mousse" live on stage, Dawn shares her particular brand of advice on love, life and marriage through a series of laugh-out loud personal stories that will have you laughing and crying and asking for seconds.

I have been quite blessed to work with talented photographer and actress Joanna Haughton and skilled makeup and hair artist Jessica Jean Myers on a promotional photo shoot, and director Ryan Keller, (Cancelproof) was super generous in letting us borrow some lighting.  Here's a little behind the scenes sneak-peak:

Yup, that's me in there, transitioning to "Dawn"

After the photoshoot, I had to run around and run some errands.  Why waste a perfectly good behive?

More updates on Dairy-Free Love coming soon!  For a look at more of the photos from the session, check out Photo by JoH
